This Austin, TX couple wanted to renovate their kitchen and open up their blocked-off living space from the kitchen to their living room. They thought that only a peninsula was possible but with some trust, vision, and reconfiguring—we were able to make their dream kitchen possible by adding a structural header beam to allow for a centered island. Not only did this open up their floorplan, this added functionality and more seating for dinging and entertaining.
