A Year of Homes, Heart, and Hard Work: Studio Lee’s 2025 Highlights
This year felt like a full-circle moment—busy in the best way, creatively stretched, and filled with homes that truly felt like an extension of the people living in them. I’m wrapping 2025 feeling grateful, energized, and more aligned than ever with what Studio Lee is here to do: design homes that work beautifully for real life, not just the styled version.
And because design never happens in a vacuum, this year was made possible by incredible homeowners, thoughtful builders, and the kind of collaborations that make the long days actually fun.
The Work That Marked the Year
Peaceful Pines
My most modern, monochromatic interior yet. Clean, quiet, intentional—proof that neutral doesn’t mean boring. This project stretched my creativity in all the right ways.
The Boho Bath at Timberline
A small-but-mighty renovation for the sweetest homeowner, built by her GC son. Warm, earthy, and joy-filled. One of those projects that stays with you.
The Modern Farmhouse - In Construction
Tucked away on a sprawling property, blending farmhouse charm with modern living in the smoothest way. Think contemporary lighting, texture-rich finishes, and a story unfolding room by room. Still in progress—check back next spring for the full reveal.
The New/Old Farmhouse - In Construction
A true labor of love. Full of character, challenges, charm, and so much detail. I got to pull out the pencil and build from the bones—exactly the kind of project that reminds me why I do this work. Beyond grateful for the family who trusted me with their forever home.
Plus a handful of virtual design projects, spec homes, and builds throughout the year—each one its own lesson, its own puzzle, and its own little masterpiece.
Where Studio Lee Shines
I design for real living — not perfection, not trends, but the way your day actually feels. Homes that are grounded, durable, timeless, and intentionally layered.
What I do best is connect the creative with the practical: beautiful selections, realistic budgets, timelines that make sense, and a process that keeps everyone aligned from day one. It’s organic modern design with day-to-day function built in.
What Clients Love
Clients tell me they love having someone who can translate their inspiration into a clear direction, someone who helps them make decisions confidently, without spiraling into 200 tile samples. They appreciate that the process feels organized, honest, and supportive from start to finish. And they love ending up with a home that feels like them… just elevated.
What Builders Love
Builders love clarity. They love selections that are finalized early, documented cleanly, and communicated well. They love clients who feel confident because confident clients make projects move faster. And they love having a design partner who understands how construction actually works — timelines, lead times, change orders, and all the tiny details that matter on-site.
Studio Lee sits right in the middle of that sweet spot: beautiful design backed by structure, strategy, and an understanding of how to keep a project moving.
A Handful of Highlights
⭐ Continued 5-Star Reviews
Studio Lee held onto a full 5-star rating on Google this year, and every review felt like a little nudge that I’m doing the work I’m meant to do. The feedback wasn’t just about pretty homes, it was about communication, clarity, and feeling taken care of through what can be a really overwhelming process.
🤝 The Most Incredible Clients
This year brought some truly amazing humans into my world. I’ve been so blessed with clients who trusted me deeply, let me into their homes and lives, and made the work feel meaningful. Many have become friends — something I never take for granted. Helping people build their dreams is humbling, honest, sometimes hard… and easily the most rewarding part of what I do.
🏗 Growing Builder + GC Partnerships
One of my favorite parts of the year was adding more builders and GCs to the Studio Lee family. These partnerships are becoming a core part of my work, and I’m looking forward to growing them even further into 2026. When builder + designer work as one team, the whole project flows differently — in the best way.
🎪 Three Trade Shows, One Big Push for Studio Lee
2025 was the year I finally showed up at more tradeshows to talk Studio Lee. The standout? The Sisterhood in Business Event — an incredible event celebrating women-owned businesses. Connecting with other founders and showcasing what Studio Lee offers was a favorite moment of the year.
🌍 More Virtual Projects Than Ever
Design truly became location-proof this year. Virtual projects with homeowners across the country reminded me that good design translates anywhere — and that a clear selections plan is just as helpful over Zoom as it is in person.
📐 More Specs, Selections, and Spec Homes
This was a big year for spec homes and comprehensive selections packages. From new builds to renovations to investment properties, I finalized more full-home palettes and builder-ready spec boards than any previous year. I love this direction and want even more of it in 2026.
📝 HourLee Becoming a Go-To Resource
HourLee sessions continued to grow helping homeowners get quick clarity and giving builders a place to send clients who need that extra nudge or second opinion. It’s become such a helpful bridge for people who don’t need full-service design but still deserve confident decisions.
🌿 Studio Lee’s Voice + Vision Getting Sharper
This year also tightened Studio Lee’s identity and direction, more intentional living, more organic modern design, and more alignment with the Studio Lee Method. It’s becoming clearer that my work isn’t just about a finished space; it’s about helping people design a better way of living inside it.
HourLee: An Ongoing Resource
HourLee continues to be such a helpful tool for both homeowners and builders. Whether your client needs clarity on finishes or you just want a designer’s eye before making a decision, HourLee is the perfect “let’s get direction fast” session.
It’s the easiest entry point into Studio Lee—and a lifesaver when you’re staring down fourteen cabinet knobs that suddenly look identical.
