Renovations
Our step-by-step approach keeps the renovation process clear and collaborative, so you always feel confident in the direction we’re heading. Here’s how we do it.
-
This is where we get to know you and your space. Through a questionnaire and a consultation (virtual or on-site), we dig into what’s working, what’s not, and what you want to achieve. Think of it as the foundation for everything to come.
-
Before we dive into the details, let’s make sure we’re aligned. I’ll combine your inspiration with my ideas to create a mood board that sets the tone and direction for your design. It’s a visual way of saying, “Yes, this feels right.”
-
With the design direction locked in, we’ll focus on the details. I’ll virtually pull together curated product selections and options that fit within the “lane” we’ve established. From here, you’ll approve materials and finishes with confidence.
-
Once selections are finalized, I’ll create 2D or 3D renderings that allow you to see the design come to life. This gives you the chance to review and tweak the vision before any demo or purchases begin.
-
To wrap it all up, I’ll create detailed Spec Sheets that outline every selection we’ve made as well as providing you a digital presentation of all selection boards. These documents serve as a clear, actionable plan for your contractor or builder—no guesswork required.

That’s exactly why we’re here. Our process begins with a thorough questionnaire and consultation to uncover your goals and style. You don’t need to have all the answers upfront—just an idea of what you want to change or improve. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels doable and exciting. Plus we offer HourLee Consulting Sessions that are also a great way to start working with us while we refine your needs.
-
Absolutely! One of the best parts of our process is that it works seamlessly in a virtual setting. We’ve completed plenty of virtual renovations without ever stepping foot on-site. From mood boards to product selections and even renderings, we’ll make sure your design is picture-perfect, no matter where you’re located.
-
Definitely! We love partnering with contractors and builders. Our Spec Sheets and design documentation make it easy for your team to follow along and execute the vision without any confusion.

-
Absolutely! Whether it’s a single room or an entire home, we tailor our services to fit your needs. Some of the most impactful renovations start with just one space.
-
It depends on the scope, but most projects take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks from the discovery phase to finalized design documentation. We’ll provide you with a more specific timeline during the consultation.
-
While our primary role is design, we’re happy to be available for additional consultations during the build or renovation phase to ensure everything stays on track. If more collaboration and communication time is required, that would be billed hourly.
-
While Organic Modern is our specialty, we’re not limited to one style. Our priority is creating spaces that reflect your taste and lifestyle, so every project is uniquely yours.
-
Our Spec Sheets detail all the selections for your project, including product names, finishes, dimensions, and even where to buy them. It’s an easy-to-follow guide for your contractor or builder to bring the design to life.
