Out-of-state, detail-heavy, and full of character—this lake house came with layers of knotty pine, structural beams, and decades of charm we had to work with, not against. We balanced it all with earthy green cabinetry, textured large-format backsplash, and light Scandi flooring to soften the redwood tones and bring everything into alignment.

We also converted the front covered porch into heated square footage, creating a standalone coffee bar that adds just the right amount of charm and intention to the home. Finished with Café appliances and reverse trim, this one hits that modern lake feel without a hint of nautical.
